c.r.e.a.m. is about America’s obsession with chasing money. The title comes from a Wu-Tang Clan song of the same name. The term c.r.e.a.m. has been adopted into America’s lexicon as slang for money. The use of numbers is a visual representation of all the money in the world. Numbers also have the ability to invoke an emotional reaction from the viewer, birthday, important date in history, or income bracket, are examples. The ciphers are used for their graphic quality and the idea that how to get rich is a secret that is only available to the few who have the key to decipher.
